New Educational Opportunity for CPC exams
The Tennessee Technology Center at

Summer 2008 Coding Course Offerings. Must have a
background in Medical Terminology. Medical Coding: 80
hrs. Classes begin May 1, 2008. Register by Phone:
615-898-8010 with a Visa/MC; or in person at 1303 Old Fort
Parkway, Murfreesboro TN 37129. Classes meet Tuesday &
Thursday evenings 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
2. Nashville Community College. There are six classes required for the coding
certificate which consist of medical terminology, basic anatomy and physiology,
ICD-9-CM coding, CPT coding, medical insurance, and pharmacology. The total
number of semester hours is 19, and the cost is $93 per semester hour or a
maximum of $1088.50 per semester. For further information the prospective

Professional Medical Coding Program
For CPC - CCS-P -
This
is a 24 week classroom instruction, intensive, fast paced study
program for medical coders of physician services. This program is
designed to prepare the student to pass the American Academy of
Professional Coders (AAPC) Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam
or American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
Certified Coding Specialist for Physician (CCS-P) exam. Both
certifications are nationally recognized. This is a certificate
